Jacob Dedek (JD) is JTV World's founder and CEO. He has over 15 years media experience in Japan, Australia, and Czech Republic. He is one of the pioneers in Internet TV in Japan with the establishment of 3CTV in 1995.

He studied Bachelor of Business at Monash University and at Chisolm University in Melbourne (sister University to Harvard). He then established two different successful Japanese franchise chains in the late 80s and early 90s, assisted a number of firms sell their products into Japan as well as from Japan, and was a highly sought after speaker at business seminars, and training on international business, service, and the media industry.

JD had the honour of commentating the Opening Ceremony of the Sydney 2000 OLYMPIC GAMES live to Japan. He has had regular weekly spots on high profile Japanese television shows such as The TONIGHT Show, CNN Daybreak, Waratte iitomo, and featured as lead role in television commercials for SONY, TOYOTA, COCA COLA and other prominent companies. JD is regularily interviewed for various magazines, radio, and TV in Japan and Prague.

Jacob (JD) has had the honour of speaking with the Emperor & Empress of Japan, heads of state such as President Havel, dignitaries such as Dalai Lama, sportspeople such as Anna Kournikova & Dominic Hasek, and of course many high profile CEOs and famous celebrities such as Jackie Chan and Ooshima kantoku.

JD has also established sister-city and sister-school relationships between Japan and Australia, Japanese Australian football, and is deeply involved with Japanese business, sports, and cultural activities. He is the only non-native-Japanese member of the Japanese Chamber of Commerce.
